Autumn Fallin', l'album de la jeune américaine Jaymay a échoué à l'aveugle dans le lecteur cd d'une voiture de location quelque part dans l'hiver. L'accroche est immédiate. Jaymay est une folkeuse comme il en existe tant, mais avec ce soupçon de swing, un rien jazzy qui la fait se démarquer de sa myriade de semblables. L'album est venu réconforter chaque journée harassante au long de l'hiver. C'est donc naturellement que nous avions planifié une session acoustique à la première de ses apparitions parisienne. L'occasion nous a été offerte par le Bose Blue Note festival qui l'avait invitée. Début avril 2008, nous avons donc rencontré la douce Jamie (de son vrai prénom), soucieuse de se prêter au jeu et de jouer ce qui nous plairait ("Sycamore down" !).
