Fabulous end bosses and multiple characters enhance the game further and while the plot is fairly average the game play in Ys Seven is worth the ride. Classic Game Room - Ys I & II CHRONICLES for PSP review

Part 1 of 2: Classic Game Room reviews Ys I & II CHRONICLES for PSP, starting with Ys 1 Ancient Ys Vanished Omen, originally released in 1987 by Falcom. This remake of Ys 1 by Falcom is published by Xseed for the Sony PSP and has beautiful anime style cut scenes and totally updated visuals that look great and retain the classic old school RPG feel of the game. In Ys 1 you play as Adol Christin and eventually meet your friend Dogi. Bumper car combat makes the game extremely simple to play and means that all combat is based on experience and weapons until you near the end of the game, but the storyline and plot progression is good enough to keep players interested who dig RPG style stories and babes with blue hair that play the harmonica. This CGR review of Ys 1 from the Ys I and II Chronicles set has gameplay from Ys on PSP showing Ys RPG JRPG style game play on PSP in HD.

Shante Scott Franklin, born April 4, 1981, better known by his stage name Curren$y, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. Curren$y signed with Amalgam Digital to release his debut album, This Ain't No Mixtape, in 2009. Curren$y also released his second album, Jet Files, through Amalgam Digital in 2009 Curren$y's third album, Pilot Talk, was released on July 13, 2010. Prior to the album's release, there was news of Pilot Talk being released under a newly relaunched Roc-A-Fella Records.However, Curren$y stated in interviews with both XXL and Complex Magazine that the album would be released under Damon Dash's DD172 record label division, BluRoc Recordsand distributed through Def Jam Recordings. Curren$y makes numerous appearances on labelmate Ski Beatz' debut studio album, 24 Hour Karate School, which was released on September 21, 2010. Curren$y's fourth album, Pilot Talk II, was released on November 22, 2010and it featured Fiend and Raekwon, among others. On February 1, 2011 it was announced that Curren$y signed and secured a label deal with Warner Bros for his imprint, Jet Life Recordings. Too bad I start with a "nightmare" lol Yep, trying my luck with this game in Nightmare Mode, also being the first time through the game. It's Omega's fault too, got hyped thanks to his videos. Onto the boss itself, I tried to do it without items but you know... I'm too cheap for that, so once I tried it twice or so I got bored and went for a normal run. The only move I know to flash guard is the bubble attack and he doesn't do it in this take *sigh* Anyway, loving this game so far. I may try the rest of the Ys series after this. Play it Through - Ys Book 1 and 2 Part 1

Hey everyone sorry for the long delay but it is finally here Ys Book 1 and 2 for the Turbografix CD!!! Please be sure to let me know what you think of the new intro a lot of work went into it. This game was a compilation of the first two games in Falcoms Ys series. Ys 1 was also brought to north america for the sega master system before this release but this was North America's first chance to play Ys 2. Both games have been remade several times with the best version being released on pc's in Japan only called Ys Eternal. There was also a version released for the Sega Saturn and the Nintendo DS though the DS version is far from being my favorite. Ys is a action rpg similar to games such as Neutopia and Legend of Zelda though unlike Zelda Ys does have more RPG elements to it then the Zelda series. While Ys is popular in Japan in North America it is not well known mainly due to a lot of the games not making it over seas and those that have usually are limited released and hard to find. Ys book 1 and 2 while not my favorite Ys game it darn near the top of the heap. One thing you will notice about the series is the music is top notch in every game of the series this one is no exception. Enjoy!!! Ys Seven Boss Run - Final Boss - Rul-Ende

Force you to use other characters JUST for the final boss is a douche move there. And what's worst, the first team features the characters I like less: Dogi, Elk and Mishera. I only used Dogi because the other two are either really slow or can't do a damn thing. The second time is way better: Aisha, Geis and Cruxie. Nothing to say here, Aqua Burst all the day. And the last one is obvious; Adol. You have to destroy the minions first, which is perfect because they count towards the main body. The best thing is to weak them first and then kill them at the same time. And after that is a normal boss, spamming Pentagram and all of that. I didn't mention, but I got the best sword for Adol, which uses the Moon Dragon Stone.
