This video describes how to dispute the copyright claim and have videos restored that are blocked by YouTube's automated Content ID system. Ever made a video and Youtube muted it or made it unviewable? Try using this. Here is step by step what to do: This is the step-by-step process to get your audio back: 1) Go to "My Videos". 2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there. 3) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process". 4) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form". 5) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it; Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use." 6) Fill out the rest of the info on the page. Use your YouTube name where it asks for it. Yes, this bothers me this much. When I see people kill creativity to make money it burns me up. And I've been seeing a LOT of people with "fair use" content having their videos yanked over this. So yes, this bothers me. Don't like it? Don't watch. And I still maintain that a major problem is when "artists" become "businessmen". how many people know Lars Ulrich had controlling interest in a recording label for a while? Right around when he went after Napster. Coincidence? I think not. But now, I see information that leads me to think Youtube isn't nearly as "victim" as they're trying to play themselves off as. I think they're happy to let the masses believe they did nothing, when it might be the case that they're the ones forcing the issue here and turning the screws on Warner. We'll see how it plays out in the next few weeks, but I think the time to do something is *now*. CLICK MORE FOR LINKS!!!! Volley #4, with some new information for you folks about the WMG situation, and what I believe we should be doing in all this. The thing that's humorous to me in all this is that I'm being contacted by a lot of places asking for interviews or information like I'm the "leader of the revolution" here. Ya wear a camo jacket and suddenly you're leading revolutions? good thing I'm not wearing the beret... But this is a little bit of a rant, and a little bit of a "we need to make a social revolution". I may make a second video with the stuff I left out of this one because I left out a good 5-6 minutes of "who to talk to" and "what to do", but something tells me you all pretty much know that part already. Keep the fax machines humming at WMG and Google/YouTube. Social engineering isn't fast, but the results are so much better than brute force. The other thing I'm finding interesting is that YouTube has stopped e-mailing me about audio takedowns, and they're just muting things without the courtesy of letting me know about it. Unite Against WMG
The Warner Music Group are taking control of Youtube, limiting our use of this great site. WMG are muting our videos and stopping cover singers, fan video artists and music video makers from posting their work on Youtube. How is that fair? They are not pyhsically sharing any music, which isn't illegal. No one is claiming the music are their own and no one making their videos for profit. It's a joke how they're allowed to control our use of YT and it's not fair. We need to take a stand now. It's effecting many Youtubers and this needs stamping out before it takes over the whole community. Watch it! Rate it! Favourite it! Comment it! Share it! Get this video as popular as possible, get it on the first page and get it noticed! WMG need to go before they ruin Youtube. If they carry on, Youtube won't be the site it is today by the end of the year, they will completely transform Youtube into something ugly! We can't let that happen! UNIT AGAINST WMG!

Warner Music Group (WMG), Youtube, and some possible solutions to this mess
A lot of the naysayers have been saying that we should stop complaining and come up with solutions. Ok, here's a few solutions. The biggest one is for large companies to change how they look at the internet and it's culture, to embrace it and not shun it, and work an exception deal for the fans. Naturally they'll never see this, but I'm hoping that one of them might cet a clue, and find these videos, and possibly be enlightened. Look for the video in your list, and there's a spot you can dispute it. If you do, you get a screen that says the following. Submitting an invalid dispute can result in penalties against your account. Invalid reasons to dispute a claim * I own the CD / DVD or I bought the song from iTunes. Buying a song, CD, DVD, or other piece of media doesn't give you authorization to post that content on YouTube. * The content was only a part of my video. In almost all cases, you need permission from the content owner to use even part of their work in your video. We Will Not Be Silenced by WMG Copyright Claims!
Hello, people of YouTube. I would like to talk about how annoyed I am that YouTube is allowed to remove videos that people have uploaded because of copyright claims, usually due to music that they're supposedly not authorized to use. In my opinion, I think that this is completely unfair because people are not making a living off of these videos. Theyre just posting videos; they just happen to use music that they dont legally own and putting footage of, lets say, clips from their favourite shows, or pictures, or whatever, and its solely for people's entertainment, for people who share the same interests as them. I don't think that its fair that videos should be removed just because they're using music that doesn't belong to them, because the point of YouTube is just to share videos with people all over the world. One of my videos, that I made, was removed because it had the Macarena in it, and obviously, I don't own the Macarena. This isn't fair — tons of other people have videos that they dont own the music for, and their video isn't removed. Now, I'm not saying you should remove their videos, because that would be completely unfair. I'm just saying that I don't understand why my video — and other people's videos as well, have been removed or the audio has been disabled. I find it extremely irritating when I want to watch a video and there is no audio, because it was removed. Therefore, Im asking you, the people of YouTube, to join me in this, for lack of a better word ...

Yep it is getting harder and harder for the little guy to do videos, I got a couple videos that either got a warning or would not upload because of the "Rejected (terms of use violation) warning", This seems to be a normal thing now on YouTube. Sure wish there was a way for YouTube to know we or most of us are just here to have fun or what ever not here to make money off someone else music or what ever..... well not me anyways.
