This is the closest I've been to the band at a concert and it was fantastic. The Wiltern floor has multiple levels, and I was on the first level above the pit, in the front row! I had the best vantage point from which to take pictures and videos (which I did) and I am presenting them here for you to enjoy. I only started recording half way into the show, because I first wanted to enjoy the show without fumbling around with the camera. Also, I never recorded a full song because I wanted to really rock out and enjoy every song, which is difficult to do while holding a camera, so please excuse the cuts/song incompleteness. Nine Inch Nails - Ruiner - Live at the Wiltern Theater, 9.10.09 *Final NIN Concert*
September 10th, 2009. The Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles California. History will remember this as the 830th live performance of Trent Reznor's genius Nine Inch Nails. Their 830th and, incidentally, final live performance. Although Trent Reznor has vowed to continue making music, whether it be in the vessel of Nine Inch Nails or something completely untried, he has stated time and again that he is done with the live aspect of Nails. This, the Wiltern performance, was not to be their last but second to last. Because Trent took ill he had to rescedule two of the LA shows, making the Wiltern Theater the last venue Nine Inch Nails would ever play. So by some stroke of luck/fate/something, I found myself on a plane bound for LA (for the second time in a week) to take witness to this, the most anticipated, and yet dreaded, final NIN performance. The show was, predictably, the most amazing show I've ever seen. According to antiquit.com, "Reznor and company played thirty-eight songs, in four sets spanning over 3 hours, the longest show the band has ever played." Guests included Gary Numan, Mike Garson, Dillinger Escape Plan, Atticus Ross and Dave Navarro. This show was the epitome of epic, as you'll be witness to from these videos. And who knows, maybe it won't be the end at all...

We managed to record Knife Party's ENTIRE West Coast debut this past Saturday!!! Codes and KIll the Noise opened for KP's West Coast debut. Rob Swire handled the decks mostly while Gareth McGrillen hyped the crowd. Highlights of the Night: - Check out #2 on the tracklist. At his Lake Brantley High School talent show, guitarist Matt Heafy performed a cover version of "Self Esteem" by The Offspring. Vocalist Brad Lewter noticed Heafy and asked him to try out for his band. The pair went over to drummer Travis Smith's house where they played Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls".
