Here is the official music video for "The Wave," by Miike Snow, the latest installment in the Jean Noel saga. The video is a continuation of a thread which began in their last video for "Paddling Out." In that video, a group of unfortunates were abducted to space in an experiment to create a perfect human named Jean Noel. Following some pretty brutal chainsaw surgery, the video ended with Jean crashing to earth in a spaceship seemingly manned by classical-era twins. Both videos were directed by Swedish Director Andreas Nillson, who's work includes MGMT and Fever Ray. Rumours the entire plot was cooked up after a real life after hours chain saw massacre are currently unconfirmed. On Tuesday, March 20, Miike Snow will stop off in NYC at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg. Tickets are limited and Terminal 5 tickets holders have a limited pre-sale. The Wave Trailer
Trailer for film The Wave by Dennis Gansel. THE WAVE is based on a real event from a Californian high school in 1967 and transposed to Germany today. A cautionary tale about the roots of fascism. The film opens in a rush of energy with charismatic teacher Rainer Wegner beginning a week long class on autocracy. To indifferent students, its a hard sell, but Wegner gets an idea for an experiment: as their leader he asks the students to call him Mr Wegner, chooses the motto strength through discipline, creates a logo, decides that everyone wears a white shirt, and names the group, The Wave adding a secret sign reminiscent of a Nazi salute. Much to their surprise the students find that they like the power of unity and soon this new found discipline spills over to other school activities and newcomers join the group. The Wave gives the kids something to believe in for a change, until they go too far and The Wave spins out of control.

Pendulum Waves
Fifteen uncoupled simple pendulums of monotonically increasing lengths dance together to produce visual traveling waves, standing waves, beating, and (seemingly) random motion. For more details see sciencedemonstrations.fas.harvard.edu The period of one complete cycle of the dance is 60 seconds. The length of the longest pendulum has been adjusted so that it executes 51 oscillations in this 60 second period. The length of each successive shorter pendulum is carefully adjusted so that it executes one additional oscillation in this period. Thus, the 15th pendulum (shortest) undergoes 65 oscillations. Our apparatus was built from a design published by Richard Berg [Am J Phys 59(2), 186-187 (1991)] at the University of Maryland. SALE TODAY: Learn Piano on iOS bit.ly The body wave is a fluid eight-count move used often in modern hip hop dance. Instructions 1. Tilt your chin up, lifting your head. Take a deep breath, pushing your chest out. Your head will return to its normal position. 2. Push out your pelvis, letting your chest return to normal. Push out your knees, letting your pelvis come back to its normal position. 3. Pull your knees back in, pushing backwards with your butt. Straighten up, letting your head tilt down to your chest. Finally, lift your head back to its normal position. Practice this series of moves at an eight count; don't worry if it starts out looking a little robotic. As you continue practicing, focus on changing the series into a single fluid movement. Speed it up until it's fast and seamless. Traveling A variation on this move involves traveling backwards, or moving backward each time you do it. The more times in a row you do the move, the further backwards you will travel. Start by doing steps one through three of the body wave normally. Right after you push out your pelvis, step back with your lower body. From this, roll back up to a straight standing position. Start back at step one—do the chin to the chest to the pelvis, then the step back and roll up to standing. Combination Practice this move combination: body wave, body wave, travel back, travel back. How to Arm Wave
SALE TODAY: Learn Piano on iOS bit.ly The arm wave is a five-count move. Waving In When you do an arm wave in, you'll be starting at your fingertips and working inward towards your body. 1. Start with your right arm extended straight out to your right, palm down, fingers straight. 2. Curl in your fingers, bending at the middle finger joints, or middle knuckles. 3. Curl in your bottom finger joints, or base knuckles. This naturally uncurls the middle knuckles. 4. Tilt down your entire hand, bending at the wrist. When you do this, your base knuckles will naturally uncurl, leaving your hand pointing straight down. 5. For this step, you'll be isolating your elbow. Lift your elbow, which will naturally turn your forearm and unbend your wrist. 6. Lift your shoulder, completing the series. Practice this series until you have each move down. To make the whole series more fluid, try incorporating the moves into one long movement, one move at a time. Start by turning the fingers into a single fluid movement, then fingers to wrist, then fingers to elbow, then fingers to shoulder. Now, try this same series with your other arm. Continue practicing until it becomes one fluid movement. When your waves are fluid with both arms, try doing two right arm waves followed by two left arm waves. Waving Out After you wave your arm in towards your body, you can then wave it back out away from your body. Remember, your shoulder is the force that pushes the rest of the movement out. Pelé The Beloved Dog was taking a long walk on the beach enjoying the brilliant scenery of the Soleanna coast. He was lost deep in thought, trying to unravel the secrets of the universe. However, this deep thought was soon broken by a shriek of terror. Pelé The Beloved Dog raced towards the noise. He saw a helpless person being tormented by robots from the nefarious Dr. Eggman. Pelé The Beloved Dog could not stand by and do nothing. He raced toward the robot and quickly defeated it and saved the poor soul. The person graciously thank Pelé The Beloved Dog but told him some disturbing news. The entire beach had been taking over by evil Eggman robots. Pelé The Beloved Dog springs into action to save the world from Dr. Eggman's Tyranny. Only time will tell what adventures Pelé The Beloved Dog will go on.

Hatsun the Pigeon was flying high over the vast beaches of Soleanna. He heard that his best friend, Pelé the Beloved Dog, was fighting against the tyranny of Dr. Eggman. Hatsun the Pigeon noticed something suspicious and landed on the emerald coast. Hatsun the Pigeon saw the broken remains of an Eggman robot. Hatsun the Pigeon knew that Pelé the Beloved Dog had already gone through this area, but to Hatsun the Pigeon's horror, there were even more Eggman Robots. Hatsun the Pigeon flew swiftly past the seaside hills to defeat the remnant of the Eggman robots. Hatsun the Pigeon began his great adventure to help Pelé the Beloved Dog and restore peace to all of Soleanna. Where will our hero fly next?
