He did this by creating 20 legions of post-human genetically engineered badasses known as Space Marines, each with an even more ridiculously OP Primarch to lead them. Unfortunately, the 4 Gods of Chaos who weren't really into that sort of thing intervened and scattered the Primarch's across the universe while still in their infancy. Rather annoyed by this, the Emperor lead the legions across the galaxy, reclaiming, subjegating or annihilating every world they could find, gradually picking up the lost Primarchs along the way. Eventually the Emperor decided there were more important things to do and retired from his career of galaxy plundering to go and muck about with ancient science back on Earth, leaving his favoured Primarch Horus in command of The Crusade. All was going well until the Chaos-tainted Chaplain Erebus ...

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of Awesome
I made this over the course of a few hours. I'm not expecting anything great; it's just something I threw together for fellow Warhammer 40k fans. For those wondering, this is based on one of the worst voice acting performances it has ever been my pleasure to laugh at. In Warhammer 40000, Dawn of War: Soulstorm, the Space Marine commander has this atrocious voice actor. I ripped the audio from his scene in the game and put it to appropriately crude animation. This is also somewhat inspired by ZekeySpaceLizard's Mega Awesome series more than Egoraptor's actual Awesome animations. If you have played Soulstorm, you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, hope you enjoy this. It's stupid, it's silly, and that's why I made it. Once in a while it's okay for a good author to make a little spam. **MORE INFO AND INSTRUCTIONS HERE, PLEASE READ** The idea of this tutorial is to get good tabletop-quality models out on the table in less than afternoon or evening without worrying too much about really fine details and complex highlighting techniques. This is NOT a shortcut to display-quality or golden daemon standards and is aimed more at those of you who want something decent to put on the board but probably don't like investing time into painting as much, or play Imperial Guard, Orks, Tyranids or any other high model count army. Hopefully this should inspire you to get them painted! Credit to this thread on Warseer: www.warseer.com You'll need the following: - Paints* - Devlan Mud - Badab Black - Thraka Green - Leviathan Purple - Boltgun Metal - Mithril Silver - Blood Red - Skull White - Chaos Black - White undercoat *You can use alternatives if you can find them, this is what I had at hand! - Tools - Wash brush or equivalent - Standard brush - Drybrush or equivalent - Optional stuff for the basing part at the end - Bubonic Brown - Bestial Brown, for the base rim, though this can be any colour of your choice - Epoxy / Gap Filler - I used No More Nails, similar stuff like Polyfilla will do - Sculpting Knife 'ERE WE GO 1. 0:40 Undercoat the model white, preferably with a spray of some sort. This will provide highlighting for the washes, any other colour might obscure them. I'm assuming in the video that this is already done, as some can take up to 24 hours to cure. 2 ...

Pulled Punches Speed Paint a Warhammer 40k Army!
My friend asked me if I would help him paint his army quickly and I agreed... another friend said that he didn't think I could do it before the game shop officially closed (early for the holidays)... I took the bet... 2 and a half hours to paint 1500 points, I just drank 20oz of coffee, and I'm full of gumption. Lets rock and roll! *SPOILER* I obviously didn't get the army fully painted in 2.5hrs, but I was pretty darned close! I stayed extra because the game-room operator at the time decided he wanted to see what all I could do in a bit more time... Warhammer 40k Dawn Of War [Gameplay HD] widescreen battle 16:9
Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War - Gameplay HD 16:9 - 1280x720. Well, its widescreen, even though its not supported. In-Game menu is stretched but the rest is in proper proportion. Its zoomed and cropped in this mode, so youre not seeing more; but less vertically. A couple examples: 4:3 - img651.imageshack.us 16:9 - img208.imageshack.us 4:3 - img203.imageshack.us 16:9 - img148.imageshack.us Just as it was with "prince of persia: sands of time". Its good for widescreen notebooks, where you can't "tell" your display to not stretch 4:3 image to 16:9. Everything was set to max. Run pretty good on: Core2Quad 3GHz, 4GB RAM, Radeon HD 4650 1GB. Win XP pro 32Bit. Of course there are some slowdowns but quite rare. Especially when there is a lot of smoke. Looks like this GPU is not good at calculating smoke-like effects. I was having the same slowdowns in high res on Prince of persia. But, hey! its one of the cheapest graphic cards on market! Playing this in widescreen is quite inconvenient, coz like i said, it's zoomed and cropped on top and bottom of the image. And when you play this in such a small res like 1280x720, its getting pretty annoying. Normally i played this in 4:3 - 1600x1200 res. which was kinda good. But having a lot of characters, even on such resolution, forces you to move screen in order to control everything. Another thing is that i tried to complete this battle within 10 min. Thats why i jumped all over the places :)there was like 4min to the end of this mission. I ...
