Star Wars Weekends is an annual event that celebrates the Star Wars film saga and the hit animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's been presented for more than a decade at Walt Disney World and seems to grow every year. In fact, Star Wars Weekends is the largest gathering of Star Wars characters found anywhere. During the event, the park hosts special shows and parades, Q&A sessions with Star Wars celebrities, and multiple photo and autograph opportunities. You also can get your hands on some limited-edition merchandise and one-of-a-kind memorabilia that has been created just for the event. On September 20, 2011, Disney and James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment announced an exclusive deal to bring the characters and worlds of the hit film Avatar to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Fla. On Jan. 19, 2012 at 12 pm ET, President Barack Obama unveiled a plan to boost tourism in a speech in front of Cinderella Castle inside the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. His speech focused on improvements to granting nonimmigrant travel visas, particularly to those coming to the United States from China and Brazil. The changes come as part of an executive order issued within Obama's We Can't Wait initiative, making changes without the aid of Congress.

This is a on ride POV of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority in the Tomorrowland section of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. You can see a model of Walt's original design for EPCOT in the "Intergalactic Convention Center" building which is the first building the ride goes inside. On a side note, I can remember when it was called the WED Way People Mover. WED Stands for Walter Elias Disney which is Walt' full name. This also was one of the first amusement rides that used magnets as a means of conveyance (another way of saying a form of propulsion)

Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion: The Ultimate RCT3 Recreation - S&FS
S&FS proudly presents the much anticipated recreation project that has been two years in the making: Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion; recreated like never before in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Countless revisions, re-builds, and updates to this sluggish project proved to be well-worth the time in the end. It wouldn't have been this good if I hadn't taken two years to finish it. This video of the recreation will take you through the entire attraction "experience", from the queuing area to the exit, and includes the most recent additions to the Liberty Square Mansion; including the interactive queuing area and Hitchhiking Ghosts. Both on and off-ride shots provided a detailed look at each scene, so that you get the best views of each and every element. I hope you enjoy viewing the final result of two years worth of hard work. This recreation relied heavily on countless custom scenery sets, including a few beta sets that are not, and will not ever be publicly accessible; made exclusively for this recreation. Over 100 different custom "Billboard" images were made specifically for this recreation, requiring hours of photo editing. The file is extremely large, and runs extremely slow due to the amount of detail. Therefore, I will not be offering the file as a download. Not only is it much more entertaining to watch this video version of it at a normal pace (without the lag that is present in the game) I can't release it due to a number of other factors: 1.
