In one clip, Mubarak loyalists are seen driving into a crowd of pro-democracy protesters, who then set upon them. In another, shots are fired on protesters on a bridge. Watch this and other space videos at SpaceRip.com EsoCast showcases a new Hubble image of a giant cloud of hydrogen gas illuminated by a bright young star. The image shows how violent the end stages of the star formation process can be, with the young object shaking up its stellar nursery. A few thousand light-years away, in the constellation of Cygnus, lies the compact star-forming region Sh 2-106, or S106 for short. Despite the celestial colors of this picture, there is nothing peaceful about this scene. A young star, named S106 IR, is being born at the heart of the nebula. In the violent final stages of its formation, the star is ejecting material at high speed, violently disrupting the gas and dust. 3D visualizations show the extent to which the star has carved its surroundings into a complex shape. In particular, the hourglass-like structure of the nebula is a result of jets from the star slamming into the cloud of hydrogen it is forming from. At the outer edges of these cavities, the gas has been compressed into shock fronts by the pressure. The star has a mass about 15 times that of the Sun and is in the final stages of its formation. It will soon quiet down by entering the adult stage of stellar life, known to astronomers as the main sequence. For now, though, S106 IR remains embedded in its parent cloud, but it is rebelling against it. Romania clashes video: Anti-cuts protests turn violent in Bucharest

Nine people were injured, as officers used tear gas while some in the crowd threw petrol bombs. The Violent Femmes were founded by Brian Ritchie (bassist), and Victor DeLorenzo (percussionist) as a rhythm section, and became a full-fledged band upon the arrival of Gordon Gano (singer/guitarist). In its early days, the band frequently played coffee houses and street corners. They were discovered (and subsequently forgotten) by James Honeyman-Scott (of The Pretenders) August 23, 1981 when the band was busking on a street corner in front of the Oriental Theatre, the Milwaukee venue that The Pretenders would be playing later that night. Chrissie Hynde invited them to play a brief acoustic set after the opening act.[1] The band signed to Slash Records and released a self-titled album that they had recorded in July 1982. The music was an innovative combination of American folk music and indie rock, and commonly referred to as "folk-punk".

Greece needs the funds before March 20 to meet debt repayments of 14.5 billion euros.

The riots began when the protesters tried to force their way through a police line to the site of the meeting. Protesters allegedly threw plastic bottles and paint balloons at the police, who fought back against them with batons and riot gear. Police estimated the crowd on Sunday to be 2500 to 3000, though it appears that many more turned out onto the streets of the city to voice their opposition to NATO's costly and deadly wars. Iraq and Afghanistan veterans also took part in the protests, throwing their medals towards the convention center where the delegates were meeting. They said the medals they were given do not represent the wars they were fighting.
