The Vines are an Australian garage rock band notable for producing a musical hybrid of '60s rock and '90s alternative music. Since 2006 their line-up has consisted of vocalist and lead guitarist Craig Nicholls, rhythm guitarist Ryan Griffiths, bassist Brad Heald and drummer Hamish Rosser. They appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in October 2002 (the first Australian band to do so since Men At Work in 1983) with the words "Rock is Back: meet the Vines" boldly emblazoned underneath.Often referred to as the 'The' bands, The Strokes, The Hives, The White Stripes and The Vines combined old fashioned punk and adrenaline fuelled riffs to be ushered in at the beginning of 2002 as the saviours of rock. They finished working on the new album Melodia in March 2008 which was released on July 12th 2008 in Australia, in the UK on July 14th, and in the USA on July 22nd.

Water Vines
Today I finally got out to the bush for the first time since moving back to Brazil with my good friend Giuliano Toniolo (guitoniolo here on YT www.youtube.com It has been great trading information back and forth with someone who is familiar with Central Brazilian wilderness survival and bush craft. We will be learning a lot from each other. Today he took the time to point out water vines. These are a great resource for quenching your thirst in the jungle. The amount of water you get from the vines varies between wet and dry seasons but the water is pure and does not need to be filtered or treated.

Jonas Brothers Lines Vines and Trying Times FULL ALBUM PREVIEW
I just got this cd 10:23 pm on June 15th and I very :( they didn't thank God :( Not cool and as for the song much better they need to read Hebrews 12: 14 - 16 lol Over all its not such a bad album I mean I admit I was slightly disapointed espcially seeing how Kevin didn't do some of the guitars solo's it almost seems like they didn't have time to make it and threw a bunch of stuff together and made a quick album I mean most the songs say they were written over a year ago but oh well over all it good I would give it a 7/10 made a little video of all the studio version previews of the songs from the new CD in stores June 16th.
