Betty's Valentine's Day at Shaker Village with Husband, Rick
In this video, Betty and her husband, Rick, celebrate Valentine's Day by spending the night at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Kentucky (Shakertown). Valentine cookies were waiting in our room when we arrived, and we were served a champagne toast at the beginning of our evening meal. We spent the afternoon looking at crafts made at Shaker Village. (These crafts will not be included in this video, but should be in a later video.) This video includes our dinner meal, which was served in the Trustee's House. After our meal, we returned to our room and exchanged Valentine cards and gifts. We got back on the road home, early the following morning after a small, but tasty breakfast. I hope you enjoy watching our celebration of Valentine's Day. I plan to upload a video about Shaker crafts soon, and I will plan to demonstrate a recipe for one of the items that was on our dinner menu. Enjoy! --Betty :)
