American singer songwriter Lana Del Rey with her first live performance on UK television. This was a live broadcast and she is a litlle nervous here as you would expect Thanks for the many interesting comments :) Born Elizabeth Grant (June 21, 1986) now better known by her stage name Lana Del Ray. Her stage name is a combination of the late old Hollywood actress Lana Turner and the Ford Del Rey Lana's song "Video Games" was named "Best New Track" by Pitchfork Tickets for Grant's show in London sold out in half an hour She wrote the song with songwriter Justin Parker after he played her the piano chords that would become its backbone. The song is about a relationship, in which she expresses her frustration at making all the running. She explained to Complex Magazine: "When you're an introvert like me and you've been lonely for a while, and then you find someone who understands you, you become really attached to them. It's a real release." Del Ray's lyrics were inspired by two broken relationships in her past. "The verse was about the way things were with one person, and the chorus was the way that I wished things had really been with another person, who I thought about for a long time," she told Socialstereotype.com, breaking into an acapella of the song. "'Swinging in the backyard, pull up in your fast car, whistling my name'. That was what happened, you know? He'd come home and I'd see him. Produced for the british Discovery Channel, this 5-part documentary about the history of video games was later broadcasted by american stations, where it was released under the name "Rise of the Videogame" in a shortened version. Content-wise, the american versions are basically the same as the british originals, with the exception that each episode is about 1-2 minutes shorter and that the british narrator was replaced by an american one. They didn't even rephrase what he had to say. It's the exact same script that he reads. Try to make some sense of that. It would have been better if they hadn't bought this terrible waste of time at all, because this is a good example for a terrible approach to make a documentary, especially when it comes to games. It is inaccurate and tries to be more flashy than anything else. Don't use this series as a point of reference or as a source of information! I only uploaded it anyway to show that not everything that is produced by Discovery Channel is actually worth watching and that also major companies that have worked in the information industry of journalism for so long, still can screw up big time when they deal with topics they know nothing about. So handle with care!

It's bizarre, it's over-the-top, and it's all about having fun, no matter how ridiculous you may look. Donkey Konga is a rhythm game perhaps most easily described as Drum Hero. You choose a song and hit a series of scrolling notes to the rhythm of the music. This is an instantly recognizable genre these days, but Donkey Konga was released a full year before the first Guitar Hero. Despite the game's niche status on the GameCube, it's always been one of the system's most enjoyable party games. CGRundertow - ASPHALT 3D for Nintendo 3DS Video Game Review
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Asphalt 3D from Gameloft and Ubisoft for the Nintendo 3DS. Asphalt 3D is less a brand-new game than it is a collection of recycled content. The tracks and cars are pulled from an iOS version of Asphalt, an unfortunate trend in early 3DS development. There's nothing inherently wrong with ports, but there's a huge difference between console ports and iOS ports. Asphalt costs a couple of bucks on your iPhone. It costs $40 on your 3DS. There are plenty of reasons why this ride isn't worth the price of admission, but in addition to the game's chugging frame rate, it's almost impossible to see oncoming cars until they're slamming into your BMW.
