Jan 11, 2012 - bein in AFJROTC we get questions from Drill Sergeants about what the pay of such and such rank is in the USAAF and we have to awnser "correctly". the only correct awnser i see is "Not Enough, Sir/Ma'am!" and i even use it too. cracks em Sarges up. for the shit y'all have to go through, in all branches of American, Canadian, and German, y'all dont get paid enough. but you dont join the military for the pay. i hope you are stayin safe o'er there, whoever you are. i salute you for your bravery!

Jan 13, 2012 - I saw him at the south mountain fair (near ottawa on). It was something else to se the mood/energy of the room when he played this live. It was moving. If you get to see him live do so. Not just for this song but he's a boss all around. A lot of solid drinking songs and good times all around.

Jan 21, 2012 - @karlawson Makes the song a little more meaningful, to know that a Canadian appreciated what the U.S. Troops do as well as his Canadian troops. :]

Feb 6, 2012 - I spent 6 years in the Corps. My last deplyment in 09-10 my little brother sent me this song telling me its how he felt when I left home. Parents got a divorce and I think he felt like I left him as well. I was his big brother and when he needed me most I left. I have always felt horrible for leaving him behind. I have served 5 tours and this song still makes me cry. One promise I made him was He would not have to push me in a wheel chair. He said its what brothers are for.
