Oct 18, 2011 - I agree about way too many stories. I did like it, admittedly I kind of expected something other than what we got but the bottom line is that it kicked ass. I did enjoy the twist of Antonia being the good guy being manipulated by Marnie then bound to her, I didn't really see that coming. I did sort of expect them to follow the book a little more closely but when Holly agree'd to join the circle I knew it would be differen't[she refused in the books] regardless it was fun. :)

Oct 18, 2011 - Don't you think the finale was a bit...anticlimactic though (especially Marnie's story)? I dunno...maybe my expectations were too high. Don't get me wrong - I enjoyed the season a lot. I just expected a bit more, overall.

I re-watched it since the finale and in retrospect it was good but I wanted/expected way more, it was kinda like the writer just wanted to patch up the ending but on the finale I'd say about 15 minutes are dedicated to ending Marnie's story and the rest are just ending or setting up for next season. I like it, and I don't. It's an odd mix.

Nov 19, 2011 - This season really was awsome, but it had much, MUCH too much character stories. You really can't squeeze all that into 12 episodes, so I'm glad they killed off a few characters ( even through they were my favorite ones!!! )

May 3, 2012 - Twilight is meant to be a love story, that happened to only be a good story in a book and turned out terrbible on the big screen. True Blood is a whole different genre, this is dark, romantic, sexy, sultry, and definitely sticks more to its true Vampire roots rather than Twilight.
