May 30, 2012 - do not take counterfeit for real, nor evil doers for christians, even if they are some very religious church members. The true christian is how I have described above. That's the real thing. None that is a liar, a thief and a murderer is a christian, no matter how much he would claim it with mouth and appearances. That is not a christian. It's a COUNTERFEIT. Like counterfeit money that claim to be the real thing and indeed are fooling MANY. I wish you grace and luck in your quest for wisdom :)

You are replying like in The Law, with an eye for an eye, an accusation for another accusation, hatred for hatred. You are being judgemental against atheists and islam and forgetting that God Almighty is The Only Judge in the universe. Your answer is not in love. How are you gonna convince a non christian of what christianism is, answering like that?....

May 30, 2012 - A good islam scholar or an intelligent atheist would knock you down in a minute. But that's of second importance, as first is how YOU understand your walk with Christ and explaining/preaching Christianity to those to question it. DO NOT tell people HOW and WHAT to think. Is one of the biggest mistakes done in some christian churches today. Tell people a solid argumented simple truth to make them think and let them think for themselves. You think you have eyes, then SEE and UNDERSTAND!!!

I have never gone on any holy crusade. Its the past. But clearly you do not know anything about the Crusades, the 100 Years War, the 30 Years War, French Religious Wars, KKK, the Holocaust, or basically ANYTHING that happened from 0~2012AD. Even the Holocaust under Hitler, which wasn't pro-christian, was promoted by Nazi Christians.

Nowhere in the definition (or Bible) does it require you to think separately or follow Christ's teachings in order to be a Christian. I hope you know that the Pope and Catholic church condoned and supported the Crusades, and I hope you know that although "America is a peaceful country because of Christians," I want you to know that before 1865, Christians enslaved Blacks BECAUSE of religion.

May 30, 2012 - Please use the Bible to support your claim, because (as I already said) Romans 3:23 says that ALL have sinned. This includes Christians. You are not exempted from the word "all". Do you need more verses to prove that you are still sinful despite being a christian? Just because you carry Jesus as a shield doesn't mean all your actions are justified. This is the exact same type of thinking that led to mass murder.

But you still don't have a strong grasp on Christianity or God's love, so before you try to contribute, I please ask that you review the Bible more often. Just because Jesus paid for our sins, it does NOT mean that we can no longer sin. A Christian still commits sins, even if Jesus pays for them. You and I are no better, in terms of good works, than an atheist.

May 30, 2012 - Freddy none of your replies are relevant. My point is that Christians are still sinful beings despite accepting Jesus. Your point contradicts itself. Your last post says you only need to accept Jesus to be a Christian. However, your earlier posts deny a person is a Christian if the person sins (but still believes in Jesus). Every Crusader and KKK member accepted Jesus as their savior. You can accept Jesus & still be a sinner (But i'm NOT AT ALL condoning this).
