I think they accept if you believe in Jesus, but in a very cursory way, not in a way that actually includes him or is reverent of him. And, I mean, sects, maybe, but there are sects of Christianity that hold beliefs that aren't held by the texts or the majority, so, until I see the religion fully evolve over time- like in your time line, where new things became an integral part- I just don't think it counts. *shrugs*
