I suggest you use Wikipedia to find out more about the "Abrahamic religions". You should also try to read more about Protestantism, which by the way what you are describing yourself as to belong: 1. Sola fide. 2. Sola scripture.

May 15, 2012 - Yes, you are right. The context of certain (everything) things in the Bible has to do with the time period. One such thing is the entire idea to believe in a god, several gods or anything remotely like it for the comfort of having an "explanation" or a glorious afterlife. It is quite sad that people believe in this and turn away from reality. As if it weren't good enough.If you truly want to know truth, as everyone deep down wants, search for it at a library in the science section. Good day!
