Surely a few home made gadgets cant be over credited for opening the door to the thousands of different types of electronic gizmos that came along.Way ahead of their time ?I agree with you there.For about 5yrs maybe,then they were eclipsed by the generation they influenced that I think did it much better. Too much of their stuff was nerdy and plinky-plonky. They blazed a trail for sure but it went cold 26yrs ago.

Apr 8, 2012 - Why shouldn't it be? What do you mean? Kraftwerk were formed in 1970. I also saw them at the Manchester Free Trade Hall in 1981, I still have the ticket! One of the best live shows ever, with a really good uplifting rock show finish.
