Mar 26, 2012 - What that chalk board would be worth today, if they kept each person's autograph.

Mar 28, 2012 - You are just soooo right - If you love him as much as I do - have you seen the Sinatra 'Roast' 10 parts I think - It's fab!
Karriesack Says:
Mar 28, 2012 - 100% agree - Stars were really just that in those days and just so cool without trying!!!Watch out for Sinatra's 'Roast' on YouTube in 10 parts - it will give you huge pleasure!

Apr 7, 2012 - Sinatra's first question as a panelist @ 8:24, "What time's the bar open?" : )
GregWn Says:
Apr 9, 2012 - JFK was in awe of of SInatra because Frank controlled the one thing that JFK wanted more than anything else: pussy. Source: Sintra's valet George Jacobs

Apr 11, 2012 - I'd direct you towards shows like "Extras". It may not be a game show but it got big stars and did very well.
MrRazorblade999 Says:
Apr 14, 2012 - Greatest singer ever and a brilliant actor.
SingersLeader Says:
Apr 14, 2012 - The singing at the end just cracked me up!
MrImiller07 Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - He looks sensational; I guess that he was invigorated by his recent marriage to Mia Farrow, who also appeared as a mystery guest. This was during the time period that he filmed the Man and his Music Emmy Award specials. He was also close friends with Bennett Cerf, the publisher and with Arlene Francis.

Apr 24, 2012 - It actually wasn't a chalk board, but black cardboard and the celebrities signed with a white crayon, and they did keep many of them. They come up for sale on eBay from time to time.
neilzep Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - The Voice is his title that he shared with Richard Burton.
BetsyBooth22 Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - They could only get Sinatra to come on the show after Dorothy died.
evet45 Says:
May 2, 2012 - The death of Dorothy is so suspicious and possibly linked to the JFK assination.
ViscountCameron Says:
May 2, 2012 - ms Newman had the best question with "do you have a small, bald head?"Also, does anyone think Mr Todson was berating her for wearing a pants suit? Today a pants suit would be dressed up.
BetsyBooth22 Says:
May 2, 2012 - Yes, I know. There is a whole lot of controversy regarding that. Dorothy and Frank hated each other. There are so many connections between them and the JFK case.
axxo702 Says:
May 2, 2012 - Dang they had psoriasis ads back then..
ronpaulforpresident6 Says:
May 6, 2012 - They could not bring this format back because there are so few Americans who couldqualify for this show. That is the unfortunate truth.
DMb123ification Says:
May 19, 2012 - why ?
BetsyBooth22 Says:
May 20, 2012 - They hated each other...I was just assuming that was the reason he had never been on before this
DMb123ification Says:
May 20, 2012 - can you tell me why they hated one another ?
ocerg1111 Says:
May 21, 2012 - I tried to think of a modern cast for the panel and host for a modern WML... but I couldnt. I just dont think the class the panels of the original show exhibited is present today, nor the wit and sagacity of the host. Somethings are just best enjoyed as they were. Any modern WML would no doubt devolve as many remade shows do nowadays.
tigergreg8 Says:
May 23, 2012 - Why bring it back, They would only muck if up anyway, They do it with every show on the air. That is one reason I don't even own a TV. Imagine who would be the host and especially the panel. What if you would wind up with Roseanne Barr or someone of her character. No, your better off enjoying the show as you see it here, where people seem kind and courteous and not obnoxious and trying to overdue each other. )
tigergreg8 Says:
May 23, 2012 - Too funny, I saw the comment and made almost the same comment back without ever having read yours. hehe. It's a great thought on the posters part, but people today would not do this show justice.

ColumbiaPerna Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - Young people today wonder how a game show could get such a big star as Frank Sinatra -- today's imitation stars do not go on game shows or any TV unless it's a big splash awards thing. The reason What's My Line got big stars to appear was that the show had class. The panelists had class. The whole country had class. What have you got now? Even the biggest of the biggest "stars" today stay away because TV has no class and neither do they.
