The next thing you know, his fiancée Sophia (Justina Machado) is seeking couples counseling on the radio from Dr. Lloyd. The no-nonsense, ever practical Dr. Lloyd questions Sophia's concept of romantic love and advises her to break their engagement, which she swiftly does. But when Patrick and his computer-savvy neighbor decide to give Dr. Lloyd a taste of her own medicine and "accidentally" join them in holy matrimony -- something that doesn't go over too well with her fiancée (played by Colin Firth) -- it isn't long before they learn that sometimes even an expert in love needs a second opinion...

Jul 16, 2011 - Uma's character in that film is really stupid for choosing that thuglike fireman over an educated gentleman that Colin Firth portrays. If Uma's character had any smarts, she would have gotten a Mexican divorce, regardless of whose name is on any FAKE certificate. The premise of that film is thumbs down for me, myself and I don't lie.

Jeffery's character was more of what she needed. -.-" I think you may have missed the entire point of the movie -.-" if you didn't get why she ended up with Jeffery's character instead of Colins. That aside (and this bearing no weight on who ended up with whom) I personally think JDM is better looking.

Nov 2, 2011 - My parents have been happily married for 26 years, sure they have their ups and downs, and sometimes they have fights, but they love each other.Before my granddad died, he and my grandma had been married for a little less than 50 years.I know load more people who are HAPPILY married. Just because you've maybe had a bad experience or whatever doesn't mean that it isn't possible.

Nov 30, 2011 - If you don't like movies that have a "love" theme, why are you commenting on a movie about a marriage? If you're happy thinking that "love is hate; hate is love", good for you. I think there is some truth in thinking that one confidant is worth more then a world of admirers, but sometimes that one confidant is the one you should take a chance on. Stand by you opinion, but it's awful of you to think that just because someone is younger then you, they don't know what love is.
