Mar 2, 2012 - hi i ride a 50cc moped at 16 atm and i just did a cbt and got my provisional licence the cbt is around £100 for a day and the licence is £50 which lasts for two years, and if your wondering if your 16 you cant have a passenger on the back hope that helps m8

Mar 17, 2012 - In the UK you can get a provisional 3 months before your 17th birthday. 16 if you have a disability and will cost around £50 unless they've risen the price. However you cannot start learning til 17. Not sure about America.

Mar 28, 2012 - A bit strange, that the instructor would allow a girl to ride a 500cc motorcycle, and give a man a scooter to ride. I would say, insulting - or amusing - but it's hardly my business to judge these trifles. A bit like arranging for a novice male boxer to spar a 7 year old boy, and for a female, equally as experienced, a rather accomplished boxer. I would walk out of there had I been in his shoes.

Mar 28, 2012 - For mopeds of engine size not more than 49cc you can apply for your provisional licence at 16. You may ride as a learner rider a machine of the same engine capacity. Your CBT will be valid for 125cc machines (manual or automatic) when you become 17 years of age.
