Dec 20, 2011 - I DO like LB as a songwriter - have 4 of his solo albums- but was thinking just this night (listening to Out of the Cradle) he doesn't exactly write EPICS or anything close. Some of my faves of his I actually find a good deal of humor in (which ain't a bad thing at all!)Stevie prob wrote better songs - prob 3 or 4 would make my top 50 (Fleet-mac & solo).He's a real good arranger and gtrist. I remember him saying how -on Rumors during the split- he's be left to turn her ideas into songs...

I also think Stevie is amazing in this version... she brings almost a sadness to the line, "never going back again" versus the original which sounded more definitive. Interesting add: "been town three times." (!!!!) I wonder what that's all about.
