I do impressions myself, and have NEVER heard such a chilling, spot-on imitation ! Gorshin does Burt Lancaster better than Burt Lancaster does ! Look at Don Rickles extraordinary reaction in this classic slice of American comedy, and Gorshin hasnt even started !!!

Feb 19, 2012 - you know, I really think that Don Rickles and Dean Martin are laughing so hard because they didn't like Burt Lancaster. Both worked with him in Films, "Run Silent, Run Deep" and "Airport". Airport was one of Dean's best works, Lancaster said the film was a "piece of crap". Lancaster was a pretty darn arrogant man. Gorshin really nails the impersonation. I could be wrong but they really look like they have an inside joke going on.

Mar 13, 2012 - Good observation, however I think the "inside joke" was that Burt Lancaster was alledged to have been a "closet" homosexual. This was well know in the industry and when Frank Gorshin said "who is he...who is she" he was either intentionally or inadvertantly refering to this and that's why the hearty laughter from Dean, Sammy and Don. I'm a big fan of Burt Lancaster as well as Dino. I know that Dino had a great admiration for Burt as well,

May 3, 2012 - As a kid I only saw Gorshin as the riddler on Batman. He was so much more. His singing & dancing was top notch. I still think his impressions were better than Rich Little.

May 3, 2012 - I'm a 'young-un,' so I first saw Frank as the Riddler when watching old Batman re-runs as a kid. But I "re-discovered" him when I saw he and Tony Curtis in Quentin Tarantino's CSI episode "Grave Danger," which sadly aired 2 days after his death in 2005. Since then I've watched several of his roast, late-night (including Steve Allen's Tonight Show as well as The Ed Sullivan Show), and other TV appearances when I've been able to find them. The guy was not just funny, he was truly a class act. RIP.

May 22, 2012 - @ .58 you can see Sammy put his hand on Frank's wrist. After "Who is he? ...Who is she?" That told you "everything" about the inside joke.Gorshin really sounded like Burt. Couldn't stop laughing at the facial expressions. These guys were awesome.
