Jan 29, 2010 - BULL. I own a 98 e36 and it has been my most durable, long lasting (180k + and still going), least expensive on maintenance car I have ever owned. I just wish they did the diesels in america with stick shift.

Jan 29, 2010 - yeah E34 and E36 are the last relatively durable cars, but still elecrtic items as fuel pump, and it is so stupid to have mech radiator cooling fan not electric, bmw just started to use electric fans for radiators, see lack of tech,all bmw have steering rack problem, low quality trust arms and its bushings, abs failure, wheel senser failure, electric mech-s of front windows, CHEAP plastics everywhere!!!, u dont feel how a/c fan blows air inside(very awful performance), seats are not comfortable
