CRYSISTENSE Says:
May 26, 2012 - PLEASE you people out there, read this!quote: "Stop thinking"You are on the right track. Thought is your enemy and that is not philosophical, it´s a fact. Even Eyedea mentioned that in the intro from "Here for you". It´s the deepest truth you can experience in your life. With that comes enormous peace. But to get there, you have to see (NOT believe) that thought is your enemy (not other people, government etc.)Try "Eckhart Tolle". I´m sure Eyedea knew him too. With great love from Germany <3

May 26, 2012 - Yes.
SleepyDisso Says:
May 26, 2012 - People that are philosophical are usually melodramatic depressives that haven't been through anything major or serious in life.
TheDeathlyhallows123 Says:
May 26, 2012 - Have you ever heard of Krishnamurti? Eckhart's beliefs are very similar to his. The difference to me is that I don't believe that you can just wake up one day and know how to observe your thoughts just because you understand that thought is your enemy. I think it's something you have to learn to do and that you will never be able to perfect but you can make yourself a better person. Idk if you haven't heard of Krishnamurti I would look him up.
RyanGiggsOBE Says:
May 26, 2012 - Eyedea helped open my eyes, sometimes i wish i could close them again back when life was simple. But in a way, now i see things more simply, but yet its harder to achieve peace
RyanGiggsOBE Says:
May 26, 2012 - Only Abilities could have made a beat to go along with search a beautiful song
CRYSISTENSE Says:
May 27, 2012 - Yes i found Jiddu and Eckhart at the same time but i prefered Eckhart because he was easier to understand for me. Eckhart said that Krishna was a role model for him and they are/were both teaching the same thing. For most people it´s a learning process. Only a few had this instant shift. Around 80% of thinking is meaningless. If you don´t see it yet, that´s fine...then you need more suffering (through thinking)You see? Sooner or later you will see it(infact you need no teacher, you are one:))
reschhhhhh Says:
May 27, 2012 - "maybe I really should stop thinking... but how?"true shit!
W0NDERD0GG Says:
May 27, 2012 - RIP Micheal Larsen (Eyedea)
TheDeathlyhallows123 Says:
May 27, 2012 - I'm actually very much aware of the dangers of thought, something I've been working on myself before I discovered Eckhart and Jiddu. But I think it goes more deeper than what I've gathered of Eckhart's beliefs. And I disagree with a couple things about him. But I do believe that whatever way works to make yourself a better person is what you should do.
ontherunhome Says:
May 27, 2012 - i honestly do not see how people can dislike this. i wish i saw eyedea preform live. god he is good, no great, no just amazing. damn
MrNtron Says:
May 27, 2012 - I think people get bummed out from looking at life through that perspective because you see the negative in life, which is really sad to see, but since this view is so distant two what you know and what you were taught to believe, you disconnect yourself from a lot of materialism, and as humans we need visual and sound noise to feel not so alone, and that feeling is so new and unknown we feel sad about it. But you do see the good in people to look forward to.
MrNtron Says:
May 27, 2012 - But you do become whole with yourself and not things. I also distanced myself from people but you find out what kind of people you want to be surrounded by. But i think we do need god, not in a religious view, that makes god seem more like a human, but as a creator and a supreme being because we are all energy, and energy cannot be created nor destroyed so it means it has always been...so we had to come from some form of energy.
oioioijellyroll Says:
May 27, 2012 - damn pretty much ever letter you just typed, you took straight outta my mind. very true i found out more of myself and realized which people i really didnt desire having in my company. and religion does make god in our image, they make it more of an Earth god instead of an universal god, which i think can be described as the universe itself. I believe we are related to god (or the universe) and it is related to us. we are all part of the same song hence 'universe'.
MrNtron Says:
May 28, 2012 - Thats good, you find out who people truly are and your able to read them and somehow know that you shouldn't relate to them.Yah definitely god is everything since it is energy and we and everything around us is energy we are all part of this one thing, hence we are this thing or part of god.
Crunchandfriends Says:
May 29, 2012 - It upsets me that iTunes is making money off of his music even though he passed away. Its disgraceful. Fucking tyrants. Also, RIP Eyedea. If you happen to be in heaven checking video comments on youtube then just know that i think you're an amazing artist. Also, tell god i'm sorry about that thing that happened last weekend. I was very drunk.
TheToofpick Says:
May 29, 2012 - Sometimes I forget drugs are supposed to be bad.
UnderGroundcity620 Says:
May 29, 2012 - words are often spoken but, words are rarely listened too. we should all listen to this man
OliverHart13 Says:
May 29, 2012 - I wish he was still alive to kill it at Sound Set this year
hfdpayner Says:
May 29, 2012 - True but you remember that at the time the bible was written the "universe" was an extremely small part of earth...
Evilfetus15 Says:
May 30, 2012 - He died of opiate toxicity though.
TheeC0median Says:
May 30, 2012 - Sometimes I feel like this is just a publicity stunt to fool us all that he's dead, you can only hope.
sxVodkaAddiction Says:
May 30, 2012 - Yeah. Cutting me off & driving all slow. Dirty old fuckers need to remember how to drive.

oioioijellyroll Says:
May 25, 2012 - Idk how you dont have more thumbs up. i agree with you completely once i started looking at life through another perspective it started to bum me out more and i kinda isolated myself from other people, but through that truth i also saw the good in people and now i gotta say it makes me happy with life. no need for a god or religion. Humanity in itself is beautiful.
