Im a native of so.cal and having been through some big quakes like the 7.3 landers followed by the 6.5 big bear back in "92" i still would choose earthquakes. Yeah they are scary and yes they normally hit when your in your p.j's or naked but thats why you always have a pair of shorts next to the bed to grab as you run out the door. And no I dont get under tables< i run out the door...

Oct 17, 2009 - in germany they say you should go into a doorway or under a sturdy table. they have earthquakes up to 5.x richter scale... :-/

Nov 24, 2009 - it was the 94 northridge quake. I lived in Lakeview Terrace at the time. It was 4:17 in the morning.I was lying Nked in my water bed. and I couldn't find my glasses. i think i sold my water bed the very next day.I never wanted a water bed ever again.LOL

Dec 22, 2009 - what about hurricanes im in Florida i haven't been in a tornado or earthquakes. maybe floods i personally haven't been in a flood but i vote for hurricanes being an option
