I normally do not like pro gamers cause to me, they give me the impression of game-addicts who do nothing but waste their lives away playing games 24/7. But Daigo... Man... Mar 2, 2012 - Simple. Excessive gaming kills. You may argue bout playing to improve hand-eye coordinations/reflexes/strategic thinking or whatever. But the major effect of gaming comes in the form of health deterioration. It harms your vision, sleep-cycles, studies. On the other hand, SPORTS = exercise. And don't tell me you don't know what kind of benefits exercises have on you. Well, there's TONS of sports CCAs in schools but few have a 'video gaming' club if it ever exists.

Mar 3, 2012 - You first argued that they "waste their lives away playing games". Implying video games themselves were a waste of time. Gaming doesn't deteriorate health. Lack of exercise deteriorates health. Daigo, who apparently practices 363 days a year, is doing just fine. Not everyone who plays a sport becomes a professional, same for gaming. They are both considered hobbies. Whether or not one sees them as a waste is pure preference, but either they're both a waste, or they're both not.
