If you privately install a camera in your home as a tool, at some point that logic will be incorporated by the US govt as it is in certain cases in the UK. People will become accustomed to the surveillance so when the govt steps in and forcibly advocate it people will be less prone to resist.I am just leery of it but I understand, I believe, your point.

May 3, 2012 - Exactly. I'm currently being mentally abused by my wife. She threatens me with my heart and soul (daughter) as soon as I bring up any issues. She gets me behind these walls in our home and puts me through her mill of mental abuse. Then when she goes outside she has a smile. I've been driven to the point of suicide. I was married before,...but that was heaven compared to this woman. She makes me feel that she is punishment for the mistakes I made in my past relationship.

May 30, 2012 - I think this is fake. Men are physically stronger than women and a man can restrain a woman if need be. Besides why wasn't the guy at work all day and coming home? Maybe part of the problem is a role reversal where the woman is forced to deal with stress that she was not meant to deal with. The man should be the breadwinner and I have as yet to see any man breast feed and take the place of a mother.This is the extreme opposite of feminism. A misogynist's playground. Wimpy wuss men.

May 30, 2012 - You sent me a message and I tried to respond but you have contact lock so I will respond here. No, I don't think abuse is funny. I grew up seeing all this garbage but a woman is no match for a man physically. I called the cops numerous times on my dad for domestic violence. I had to run out of the house many times to the neighbors for help and I was a small kid and a girl, not some teenage boy. One time I called the cops and my dad literally ripped the phone out of the wall.

May 30, 2012 - So my childhood was no picnic and my dad was mostly to blame. Then I went on to marry an abuser who tried to choke me to death when I was pregnant. I had to leave and divorce him and that guy was crazy. One time I failed to serve him dinner personally like I usually do and I was slapped in the face for it. So I did nothing to provoke that attack. Mostly men are abusers and that is reality. I've seen so much of this all of my life and to deny this reality is just a bad joke.
