May 16, 2012 - I just got out of TDC in September, and yeah they only get two meals on the weekends, but the calorie count is the same 1800-2100 calories a day, (I was a clerk in food service, did paperwork on it all day.) It was implemented to save money on labor costs, payroll, more than any food costs. TDC grows or raises 95% of its own food, food cost wasnt the issue, just the higher ups in huntsville wanting to give themselves a raise.

May 28, 2012 - They do this to all the time,theres up too 50 people per tank/hausing with only one guard.Well lets say some of those 50 decide to buck the sytem/fuck up,the whole tank would not go too eat.And at that moment the guard steps out and usaly the ones that suffer are the ones that are week or just to nice.They take their commesery/food the buy in prison and once that happens they usaly take the prison food too when we go to eat again.The food is shit those, all can or powder.U like powder eggs bro?
