monellasweeting Says:
Dec 5, 2011 - STOP FINDING EXUCES FOR YOU BAD HABBITS THATS WHY YOUR FAT. DR ATKINS DIES FROM HEART DISEASE. YOU SOUND UNDER CARBED LISTEN TO THAT SHYT AND YOU WILL NEVER LOOSE WEIGHT. I BET YOU STILL FAT !
Lauxesa Says:
Dec 31, 2011 - "On April 8, 2003, at age 72, a day after a major snowstorm in New York, Atkins slipped on icy pavement, suffering severe head trauma. He spent nine days in intensive care, before dying on April 17, 2003 from complications from his head injury."
styxtap Says:
Jan 9, 2012 - Don't cut carbs, cut Grains.Sweet Potato and Maple Syrup examples of healthy natural carbs.
yendor1200 Says:
Jan 10, 2012 - as I watch all these independent nutrition opinions, the ones who defend movies like Fat Head look horrible while the Raw Vegans look gorgeous. Everyone has their own opinions and im going to jointhe team that actually shows results.
AmusingYeti Says:
Jan 17, 2012 - I think that is possibly the most idiotic, neurile thing I have ever heard. You agree with veganism so are looking for a way to justify it. I could show you hundreds of vegans who look like bags of bones. You use science to justify your position not "common sense."Tbh I could not care less about what you do. More meat for me.
AmusingYeti Says:
Jan 17, 2012 - Pine needles contain more vitamin C than an orange does. Fruit is not low in sugar either. Fruits are not bad for you; but will do no real good for you either. Why not eat organ meats? They are chocked full of vitamins.
yendor1200 Says:
Feb 8, 2012 - As idiotic as it may seem, it actually works. I lowered my cholesterol and my dosage of insulin for type 1 diabetes. I am no longer in danger of getting high blood pressure. Not to mention losing 20lbs in the 1st month. So... ya, I guess common sense works. Don't confuse science for marketing and propoganda pharma, fda, usda, lobbyists conjure up in a board room. You don't think all the hormones they feed livestock and roundup monsanto affect us?
AmusingYeti Says:
Feb 8, 2012 - Grass fed beef. Organic foods. I live in the UK and we have one of the best meat industries in the world.
Masteroftrancegirl Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - Based on what scientific evidence?
Masteroftrancegirl Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - Sugar is sugar, whether it is in fruit or in pop. Don't eat too much sugar. You CAN get fat off of fruit.
styxtap Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - That is the dumbest shit I have ever heard. You would not no science if it hit you in the face.
styxtap Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - If you want scientific evidence, your best bet is hardly pestering some moron on youtube
styxtap Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - this is awesome. Im jealous. Grass fed beef is not that popular yet. I have to drive 20 miles to whole foods or farmers market.
Masteroftrancegirl Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - Thank your for acknowledging what I was thinking (thumbs up).
styxtap Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - yea dude Sweet Potato and Real Maple Syrup are actually not healthy for you, your right. Good luck staying healthy in the future while avoiding nutrient rich foods.
Masteroftrancegirl Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - Steak, eggs, salmon, butter, coconut oil, avocados, bacon, green non-starchy vegetables. Yeah, I'd say my diet is probably healthier than anyone who eats the standard American diet.
styxtap Says:
Feb 10, 2012 - hey that is actually an incredible diet.. thats how I eat too! I just add sweet potatoes, maple syrup and LOTS of nuts pecans brazil nuts almonds, I am a very active guy Hiking and Resistance Training I really need the extra carbs and calories, but trust me, these are healthy sources strait from the earth. I really apologize for getting mean and upset.
styxtap Says:
Feb 10, 2012 - but you really cannot compare genetically modified CORN SYRUP to any fructose or glucose found in nature. The body responds to corn syrup like it is a foreign contaminant because it is not of this earth.
Giftiga Says:
Feb 16, 2012 - Sweet potatoes are ok. White starches are whats bad.
MetalByrd66 Says:
Mar 18, 2012 - Good review. Although to attract more people to this, I would've mentioned that the movie explains the politics behind why we're told to eat according to government approved nutritional guidelines. The movie mentions that the guidelines were put in place by a bunch of vegetarian activists, and that scientists and researchers were told to submit data that coincides with the guidelines, or else they would lose their government grants, which they practically live on.
Robiig Says:
Apr 3, 2012 - What makes fruit good for you? Let me see, plenty of colon cancer cholesterol reducing fibre, energy creating vitamins and minerals, AND cancer and disease fighting antioxidants and phytonutrients. Fruit is a natural food for human beings. This is why it smells good, tastes good, and looks attractive to us.
Robiig Says:
Apr 3, 2012 - A high carbohydrate diet is very healthy providing it is low fat (10% calories from fat) and high in fruits and vegetables, supplemented b some nuts and seeds. Insulin sensitivity is increased significantly and diabetes reversed; refer to Dr Neal Barnard's Programs for Reversing Diabetes for evidence. A high fat diet also can have some positive effects, especially for weight loss providing carbs are kept below 150g per day. The truth - Carbs and fat don't work well together.
MrPATRICK416 Says:
Apr 9, 2012 - Fat people switch to a "Paleo" lifestyle diet. I have lost 45lbs in 12 weeks sticking to this diet (sticking to it 100%) and I will never go back to a western diet again! I haven't watched fat head but just watching the trailers it true!

NYBuildings Says:
Nov 20, 2011 - If you lost 20 to 30 pounds I would break you in half! :D
