May 17, 2012 - One of the first MTV videos. Back then in Cincinnati we had what was called Cube Cable. Way befroe Time Warner took over. The wired remote had a paper card you slid in to tell which of the 81 channels were an which buttons. MTV was listed as "Cube Future" It was merely a blank for new programming then one day, there it was in all it's glory! Bands I'd never heard of and music so different than anything else out there. I actually put a tape recorder up to the TV speaker to play back for myfriends

May 19, 2012 - Nope. A large portion of U2's fan base could not accept change. Pop is one of the more brilliant risk taking albums ever. If you can find a used copy at one of the last used Cd stores, the back of the disc will look perfect. Why? Nobody "listened" to it. Maybe they "heard" it once or twice. But they did not "listen." There is a difference. All bands evolve over time. So called "Music Snobs" want their favorite band to stay the same and release the same exact music they started out with.
