Jan 30, 2012 - OK, then. Also have to ask do you love the biblical Jesus, or the American jesus? The American jesus is an idol, or some social justice jesus. The biblical Jesus who is the Word of God. He is the one who said, He is the only way to salvation. He came not to bring peace on earth, but peace with God. No christian is promised an easy life. We live in a fallen world system due to mankind. If there were no people, the planet would be fine, and everything.

Shoots1978 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - Continued: And we deserve hell forever.

WFSW32 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I love the one named Yeshua of Nazareth. The man who turned the other cheek. The man who protected the innocent. The man who loved all. I love the historical Jesus. And it's nice that you think babies deserve to burn in hell.

Shoots1978 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I don't think I ever said, "babies deserve hell", a baby never even committed a sin yet. David's son that was born too him, went to heaven. So I believe babies go to heaven. All human beings are born criminals, but usually a baby doesn't have that capibility to carry out sin. Right to heaven. I believe in that Jesus also, in Hebrew, Yeshua, in English the language I speak, Jesus. But there is no "J" in hebrew or greek. Read the whole bible and you will see all of Jesus.

WFSW32 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I've read all of the Bible. And you said that we all deserve hell forever. Therefore, you think babies deserve hell.

Shoots1978 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - Why would a baby deserve hell? It hasn't broken the law yet. As the life grows up, whats in the heart becomes more and more manifest with time. Even not counseled with discipline, (whatever discipline is used) that is what the parent decides is the best for that child, the child will grow and do whatever the child wants. Use the gospel with the full understanding of the cross, and sin, which will lead them to repentance and faith. Anything else is just whitewashing them.

WFSW32 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - You believe that we are all born with sin and the baby can't repent.

Shoots1978 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - A baby's communication is good, it's usually just, bababa. :) Yeah, we have the intention of sin in the mind, (the heart). We have the choice to choose sin, as we have the choice to be honest, or tell a lie. Or to steal a candy bar, or rob a bank. Or we have a choice to murder someone, or not. We should do what we know is right. If something "feels" right, but is wrong don't do it. Just behave what the law we know says. And we would be ok, but to do right is hard.

Shoots1978 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - There's this struggle with "feelings" and what we know is right.

WFSW32 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I do what I know is right. I don't steal, lie, or murder.Don't compare me to you and don't expect your many shortcomings to be harbored by everyone else. I know what is right and punishing someone for believing something no one can prove true or false isn't right.

Shoots1978 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I didn't think I did compare myself to you, let me go and read my comments, sorry. Even if you never in your life, lie, or steal, or, murder, what about coveting in your heart, (that is to jealousy desire something someone else has for yourself?) Which is idolatry in the heart, which also sets the thing up as number 1 in your heart instead of the Lord who gives breathe to you, which is disrespectful, Blasphemy to Him. See, you would be like me guilty and need a savior, right?

dsbiddle Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - @Shoots 1978 - We're all sinners and all fall short of God's glory but praise our Father who, through grace, gave us Jesus by whom we are reconciled to Him for eternal life to those who take up their cross and, in spirit and truth, walk as Jesus walked. I don't judge anyone but there is no name given among men through which salvation is attained except through Jesus. Live as your heart tells you. However, I can't state it any clearer than this - there is ONLY salvation in Jesus Christ -luvya!

May 12, 2012 - I believe Jesus was a simple man...not matter what was going on he provided for himself... I do believe he was a COUNTRY BOY

ElGuapo22222 Says:

May 24, 2012 - I think Clay Walker needs to read his Bible again. Jesus wasn't a country boy, He was a Jew. He lived in Nazareth not Nashville.
