Simply put a weight on the bottom of a monopod (not extended) and you'll have such an improvement you'll never go back. Wally-world sells a mono for 15 bucks. Get a 2 pound weight and you're set. Search $14 steadicam to get the idea (Not connected to WWorld). And thank me later. Time for aspirin...
