Sep 21, 2010 - @sidesjeremy it is my understanding that Charlie died when he fell off of a porch in Asheville NC..I live @ 10 miles from the Green River (the one featured in the middle segment with the Christmas music)..I have kayaked it for yrs..I know people that knew Charlie Beavers & that's the story that I heard...he definitely wasn't killed kayaking as many believe..everyone I know that knew him says that he was a nice, likable, smart guy..there is a rapid on Upper Cherry Creek in Cali named after him
