Feb 28, 2012 - I love Metric's version of this song, but not this performance. Emily's voice's been so rough lately and she can barely sing in her usual hi-pitch. Her voice is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard and I'd hate to think that it's damaged or something, but unfortunately that's become clear for the past three years or so. On this performance, Jimmy plays the song 1 1/2 steps lower than they used to play it, so she can manage to sing it. It sounds meh, indeed.
