Its hard to remember but I think 'being a stranger' 'us vs. them mentality' and '1st hand experience' (of other cultures), were underlying themes. It demonstrated the absurdity of some of these pre-conceived attitudes, dissolved stereotypes, and exposed agendas on both sides. So what did you think the book was about? Chances are you read it more recently. lol
