May 8, 2012 - Wow. Just.. wow. They say if you were there then you can't remember. Well, it's been years since I saw Joe Walsh, though he had a huge influence on me, as a student, then working in the biz, and seeing a few shows. Not this tho. A-mazing. Full size, full volume. And all I went to YouTube for was to find the original Funk#49, which just drifted into me head. Thanks so much for sharing this! :-)

May 9, 2012 - Joe has some of the best journeymen musicians with him that day. Steve Patch on "lead drums", Matt "guitar" Murphy, and Donald "duck" Dunn on bass. These guys show up every where. Murphy and Dunn play with several people on all 3 Crossroads videos, at the "Live Aid" concerts in 1985 and back as far as having rolls in the movie "The Blues Brothers".

May 12, 2012 - I still remember to this day, my dad took me out when I was 11 (18 now) to buy this Crossroads guitar festival dvd. All was great and everything until this song popped on, especially when Joe was saying "This song is dedicated to everyone that never had a song dedicated to them, what about those people!" Really inspirational. Also, I used to get made fun of for wearing those yellow sponge nike shoes in grade six and seven, then when I seen Joe Walsh wearing them, I was in awe!
