Feb 4, 2009 - A 60's thing: a "boy group", but with enormous appeal and talent! I was hooked on them when I was 9 or 10. Still find their music awesome.

Jan 31, 2010 - I was part of a group from '65 through '71 called "The Sound Project". This was one of our so-called "staple songs" and NEVER failed to get the kids on their feet! And it was pretty damned playing it as well! Great post, great song, great memories--thanks for putting it up!!

Apr 29, 2010 - This takes me back to 1967 when I was 11 y/o kid. When I first heard this song I was not sure if it was The Beatles or The Stones. It still sounds a s fresh today as it did back then. Thanks for posting it!

Apr 29, 2010 - I have always loved the arrangement of this song. I used to wish/ think Jimi Hendrix would have covered this tune, he would have taken it to another level...Thanks for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jan 7, 2011 - bruce gordon AKA silent bugler runs a site called Let's Be The Beatles where he examines songs influenced by specific beatles tracks-he points out connections between this and "drive my car" (1965) : "An examination of the Paul Revere catalog shows plenty of Beatle lifts, although their "Northwest Sound" was certainly All-American. If this song's lineage isn't immediately obvious, they make it pretty clear by the time they get to the chorus: "But you can drive mine if you'll sit right here..."

Sep 6, 2011 - My ex-wife's middle name is Louise, and this song describes her so much it's unreal - especially the repetitive line "can't please her"!!!! L.O.L.

Sep 17, 2011 - Wasn't there 2 completly different versions of this song?
geocs58 Says:
Sep 25, 2011 - Not completely different; Keith Allison (a later Raider) released his version with the same Raiders backing track-I was not able to link it, but youtube search "Keith Allison Louise" to hear it.
