Aug 25, 2011 - It's funny, I didn't know what this song was about until I read it on his website. I THOUGHT I knew what it was about, but I had it all wrong. Well, mostly. I even remember David had a Facebook status that said "1,000,000 points for someone who tells me what Heaven's Ease is about." Even after listening to the song 1,000x, I never was sure. But now I am. R.I.P. Snoopy, and all dogs that taught people what it truly means to love someone unconditionally.

Sep 12, 2011 - I think lots of people wonder if heaven is something that exists or not but the thought of it definitely appeals to everyone. A perfect place where little angels fly around playing harps and people jump from cloud to cloud. This song wasn't written for my dog Snoopy...it actually was written before his passing. People who have experienced a death in their lives can relate to this song. In the moment of death, I'd like to hope a heaven exists not only for me, but for all the ones I love.

Apr 23, 2012 - Our puppy just died yesterday, Hiccup. She had a heart condition. She's just barely a year old. Doctor said she was born with the condition and that she was lucky to live this long. She wasn't feeling pain until the last two hours. It happen all so suddenly. When I listened to this song yesterday morning I couldn't relate to it and now I can and I feel like I can relate to it. I really hope she's in a better place now. I really miss her and the lyrics are helping me come to my own ease.
