May 3, 2012 - I am also considering the Nikon D5100. However the D5100 feels like a toy and small, unlike the canon looks manly and rugged style. btw my price range is under $1000.

May 4, 2012 - For a $500 body, the t2i takes excellent images. You will NOT get extremely good performance at high ISO as one would expect from a 5D Mark II or III that cost over $3000, but for the money it is very good. Leaps beyond any point and shoot you can buy.It's an excellent value buy.

May 16, 2012 - i just got my rebel t2i and having trouble with the playback on my laptop. whether i record in hd or not the video is very choppy. i have a class 10 sd card and a hp laptop thats fairly new, any suggestions because im not sure whether its the settings on the camera or laptop or something that im doing completely wrong. please help thanks

May 30, 2012 - I'm a moderate beginner in photography as well and I bought the 550D last friday. I can report that for photography, this camera is as great as for the videomaking. I was recommended by several people (salesmen and canon-using friends) that the 550D was better for beginners with some experience, because it would give you more possibilities than the D3100. I didn't have the opportunity to compare it with the very similar D3100, so if you do, grab it! But as far as the Canon concernes, it great!
