Jan 16, 2012 - That's the theory...In practice, our electoral system is wholly controlled and manipulated through the introduction hundreds of millions of dollars to which the private citizen is unable discern the donor. Most of this money comes through the marriage of non profit 501c3 corp's which can't politic which funnel it anonymously into 501c4 advocacy groups which CAN politic. It's the same damn billionaires who run ALEC, AEI, REASON and Heritage. And it's all lies. Balance my ass.

Jan 16, 2012 - 1. Citizens United upheld disclosure rules. 2. I don't do conspiracy theories, bye.
cardcreekdesign Says:
Jan 16, 2012 - I wish the ties between AEI, ALEC, Reason and Heritage were just a theory. Ignore that tie at your own risk and the risk of this republic. What you have done is buy into a partial truth as if that were the way it's played out in reality. I assure you, it is not.Good luck. We'll need it.

Feb 2, 2012 - 99'ers Keep up the cause, its not right for these people we put in office to be pawns to the greedy at the expense of the people the masses. Making laws that only benefit them the greedy, and justify it by saying its the law. Slavery once was legal it didn't make it right. We must change these laws for all to benefit and live with dignity self worth

Apr 21, 2012 - being the vast majority of the country is centrist and/or liberal, looks like you'll have to wait on that one. heh heh heh. I do believe that corporation persons should be aborted before they are born.
frazierjrfrank Says:
May 22, 2012 - Stupidest waste of time yet. Way to go liberals, every time you open your mouths, just proves how ignorant we already knew you were.

sklanger Says:
Jan 16, 2012 - Wrong. Corporations have diverse internal charters, many of which provide some form of shareholder control over corporate speech. Some delegate the decision to speak on their behalf to CEOs, corporate spokesmen, or employees; it doesn't change the underlying point: that should they wish to amplify their voices through the corporate form, they may do so. Should they not, they can divest themselves of membership in the organization. Deep pockets balance deep pockets.
