Description:
ANOTHER CHILDREN'S CORONATION, a full scale re-enactment of THE QUEEN'S CORONATION OF 1953, will be performed in ST MAWES on 4TH JUNE 2012. Everyone is welcome to our village in Cornwall to see this magnificent spectacle complete with an 8'6" tall Gold State Coach._________________________________________A detailed re-enactment of The Queen's Coronation, called The Children's Coronation, took place on 3rd June 2002 in Cornwall, as the principal event in the Jubilee celebrations of the Parish of St Just in Roseland. It was performed on the Quay in St Mawes by nine and ten year old children from St Mawes School, together with a few adults.Villagers created a 2.5m tall golden Coronation Coach, to be pulled by members of the Gig Club, a Coronation Chair, authentic dresses, robes and regalia and principal items of the Crown Jewels. Royal approval was later received by letter from HM The Queen and in a visit from HRH the Duke of Cornwall.Disclaimer- Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Mar 22, 2009 - Queen Elizabeth II is head of state for not just United Kingdom but for Canada and Australia and New Zealand too...I despice the NWO European Union. She is the one thing that unites us in common values, language. I think we should work even closer together. I'm NOT a European! If WE have a king/queen as head of state then we have prime minister. And that IS our identity, and OUR way of doing things. why would we want to change it? its been the same since day 1 for us. LETS CELEBRATE IT!
