Apr 30, 2011 - I have to say that I think my favourite Mom Movie that didn't make the list is Waitress

Apr 30, 2011 - What about a mother that has a son that loves her so much that, even when she dies, he keeps her corpse in a room, dresses up like her, and stabs women to death in the shower. I'm talking about Norman Bates's mother in Psycho.

May 1, 2011 - Wow. You are right. My apologies. According to IMDb it opened in Aus. on 4/21, and then a bunch of other countries on 4/27-29. Canada and US won't see it until 5/6, and Japan in April. But because Grace lives in the US and reviews them on opening day, we won't see it until this Friday. That explains why so many people comment that they have seen it the same day she reviews it.

May 1, 2011 - Great list -but interesting that so many on it are not biological mothers, more accidential ones. And the ones that are biological are mostly monsters and/or difficult... Did you notice that?Missing: MILDRED PIERCE!!! Can't believe you didn't include her!Honorable mention: Mrs Bates in Psycho. Never has a mother been more present while being totally absent. T2 beats Avatar any day in my book. Go Sarah!P.S. Have you seen Game of Thrones - would it be possible to get a review from you?

May 4, 2011 - I was half expecting a Mrs. Robinson from The Graduate reference. Not sure if it's better or worse not to have her in the list.
