It beats the daylights out of any point and shoot, and since I'm liberated from film, I can shoot as many shots as I want, and just keep the good ones. It's an old school 6MB dslr, that I'll probably give to my daughter. I'm digging the k-r right now.

I only find the f/4-5.8 lens. Can someone give more details about the Amazon's version of the lens? Or is it a typo?

Now that being said, If the features are included in what you are looking for and as a Bonus the Camera comes in various Colors, Then that is a Cool add on Bonus. But Ladies, Please if you want to be taken serious, By Men, You must Stress the Features, More So then just the Cool Colors. ;)

Mar 30, 2011 - Color is important, because when you go out with bunch of photographers with their cameras, you can pick out yours quickly. Don't know why Canon and Nikon's all comes in black. Henry Ford all over again.

May 4, 2011 - got mine today ,fast AF and 25600 ISO and 6 fps is wow for this price range dslr! besides excellent quality in low light and fantastic handling though its compact in its class.cool filters too
