May 26, 2012 - u r right... often people's comments are full of hate, anger, and negative sentiments. The system like this sooo much. Dividi et impera was the Roman Empire's motto (divide and rule).

kunstssst Says:

May 26, 2012 - Techno was born in Detroit. House was born in Chicago. Why is there more house and techno clubs on the East and West coasts than in the midwest?

kunstssst Says:

May 28, 2012 - techno is definitely from germany (kraftwerk). read wikipedia

LeonBeilmann Says:

May 28, 2012 - Nope, trance kinda was. Techno wasn't ;)

atlantichouse Says:

May 28, 2012 - Kraftwerk were producing techno way-way before Detroit got anywhere near it... and when Detroit did begin producing techno, it was pure Kraftwerk imitation. So the idea that the techno genre was born in Detroit in the early 80s is laughable. The only thing about techno that was born in Detroit was the actual term 'techno'. before that this new electronic music genre was simple called electronica... which even pre-dates Kraftwerk.. but it was Kraftwerk that truly nailed this new electronic beat.

TonyMoca Says:

May 28, 2012 - Well as it states it's Detroit Techno, not simply Techno. If you have to call it from Detroit it's because there already exist somewhere else!!! And the name techno for electronic music came from the germans, because they used technological instruments like oscillators to create it, namely Kraftwerk among others.

crazycopkiller Says:

May 29, 2012 - techno comes from germany... ;)

Bolizzo Says:

May 29, 2012 - Lol, some of these comments reflect some similarities related to the phrase, "You're so busy thinking about the money you're not getting the money." It's all different yet the same, how it got started is anybody's claim. We just want to dance...

TheReactor8 Says:

May 30, 2012 - As a Kraftwerk fan in the early eighties, missed the possibility to dance to it. I could hear in my mind what later is called Techno by speeding it up with more bass. Detroit closed the gap and I danced the late eighties and early nineties... Full credit for that...

xBITCHESxHATExMEx Says:

May 30, 2012 - Damn, this city gave birth to some great music...

LOveERDos Says:
