Dec 27, 2011 - It's very impressive, but the test actually bears very little practically in the real world. Nobody carries 1000 rounds of ammo or will ever have to shoot 1000 rounds of ammo in a shoot out. I'm sure a lot of pistols out there would shut down from being too dirty if they went through what a Beretta Nano did in this test, but it doesn't really matter.

In the real world not everyone cleans and relubes their carry gun as often as they should...especially if they carry in a pocket. 1000 rounds run through it like that will heat up the barrel and other parts, so that it kept running flawlessly tells me it's a great gun to carry and I can probably trust my life with it.

Feb 18, 2012 - The Nano isn't even close to the 92 in reliability. Check out the numerous and chronic malfunctions that are well documented at The Beretta Forum. I too am a 92 fan and was very excited when the Nano was announced. But people who actually bought and used the Nano have reported too many problems to allow me to consider it as a defensive weapon. Maybe if they get the bugs worked out.

Feb 21, 2012 - This endurance test used Black Hills 147GR +P ammo. Any Nano will run flawlessly with that ammo. The problems that customer's have with their Nanos, me included, is FTE when shooting low quality ammo that is inconsistent in power. Once I started using better quality ammo like American Eagle 124GR and Federal Classic Hi-Shok JHP I stopped having problems with FTE. I have over 3200 rounds through my Nano now and it is very reliable, very comfortable to shoot, and accurate too.

Mar 8, 2012 - You'll have to forgive me but I have very little faith in marketing videos especially ones where you cut out the majority of the shooting. That makes it too easy to cut out malfunctions and no third party witnesses.

May 19, 2012 - Hello I have a Nano and LOVE it! I also have a PX4 Subcompact in 9mm both Great guns. I really like the look of the stainless barrel and Black on the subcompact, I'd like to know if the Nano barrel can be polished Without Fear of Rusting? I know Glocks have Tenifer in the slides and barrels so polishing works fine. Do you think i can have the barrel polished to get that Subcompact Look on my Nano??? Keep up the Great work next i want a Full size PX4 40cal

On websites like sgammo.com, you can get a box of 50 for about $25.So, respectively, you just suggested a $1,150 or $500 break-in. For a pistol that retails around $450.A good gun will run with cheap target ammo like WWB or UMC.That said, awesome 'lil gun.
