Trains, ships, highways, and ports. All these infa structure deals come through DOTand not just through DOT to state DOT's-there are contingents in everystyate working for DOT federal while also dealing with DOT state in all these issues. Don't let us forget the people in Airports who bring the planes in and gets them landed-unless they go boom!

There are plenty of journalists who research, use data & aren't pushing some crazy agenda. There aren't as many stupid people in the world as you seem to think. You can't compare the average salary of the federal worker with the average salary of the non-government worker because the two are at different skill levels. The CBO said between 2005 and 2010 federal workers made on average 2% more in total wages.

But I have to say as a current Govt employee and former fed employee (no, I do not make over 150k a year) I DO vote for spending cuts and candidates who are for smaller govt. I know you make several other compelling points in this short video - but please dont make the assumption that all govt employees and their families want more taxes and bigger govt. Sure, I want to keep my job and grow may salary, but not suck taxpayers dry in the process, I am a taxpayer too!
