Oct 25, 2011 - Officially the BRIT Awards are the British Record Industry Trust awards skewed mainly for BRIT twit wankers like you. Interestingly, six time winner Coldplay's Chris Martin proclaimed Arcade Fire, "the greatest band in the history of music," in a 2007 New York Magazine article. In addition Arcade Fire's lead singer and guitarist Win Butler is an American.
hugo3290 Says:
Oct 28, 2011 - no actually win butler is canadian but lived in texas for a short time
LiberTBo Says:
Oct 30, 2011 - Wrong -Born Edwin Farnham Butler III in Truckee, California and raised in The Woodlands, Texas with a Mormon upbringing. Butler is the maternal grandson of jazz steel guitarist Alvino Rey, a pioneer bandleader whose career spanned eight decades. His maternal grandmother, Luise, was a member of The King Sisters, who starred in a weekly variety program on ABC called The King Family Show. At the age of 15, Butler started attending the Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire

Oct 30, 2011 - - Its people like you that tarnish normal commenting on this site. You don't know the information or facts so you go south with language and attitude. However what eelse should people expect from a full fledged wanker.
LiberTBo Says:
Oct 30, 2011 - More on American Win Butler - Butler moved to Montreal in 2000 to attend McGill University, where he met his future wife, Régine Chassagne whom he married in 2003. Butler has a degree in religious studies.
doubleshotfilms1 Says:
Dec 20, 2011 - really? Cooler than Wim Butler?
eltroy17 Says:
Jan 1, 2012 - que gana de verlos en vivo en Chile
SMELLTHEBULL Says:
Jan 3, 2012 - I love this song but what is the point in having two drummers playing exactly the same beat?
donnishark Says:
Jan 9, 2012 - AC seem anal about reproducing their studio sound live. On the studio album, the stereo mix allows for tiny differences in the beats that manages to make the song about a hundred times more interesting. You just can't hear it live.
Jimmmeeehhh Says:
Jan 18, 2012 - because its AWESOME!
besidethemoon Says:
Jan 24, 2012 - sexiest band of All time.
Bipatride Says:
Jan 28, 2012 - That is Will Butler, Win Butler' younger brother you are writing about. Win Butler did go to McGill. Both of them graduated from the Philips Exeter Academy.
LiberTBo Says:
Jan 28, 2012 - - I don't understand what you're saying? Win Butler attended Phillips Exeter, attended Sarah Lawrence College for a year, moved to Montreal in 2000 to attend McGill University, where he met his future wife, Régine Chassagne whom he married in 2003. Butler has a degree in religious studies. Win's brother William, "Billy" also attended Phillips Exeter, attended Northwestern University, majoring in Poetry and languages. Exactly what is ytour question?
Bipatride Says:
Jan 28, 2012 - I reacted to you saying hugo3290 was wrong, when he in fact was not.
LiberTBo Says:
Jan 30, 2012 - What is being implied is that Win Butler is a Canadian verses an American living in Canada. This is untrue unless Win has changed his citizenship, which I don't believe he has. That's the issue. The Butler's are Americans living in Canada. I'ts not a huge issue.
Nit2RockU Says:
Jan 30, 2012 - The Butler boys are Americans, not Canadians. Win's wife Regine enjoys dual citizenship now since she's married to Win. So what? What difference does it make? You don't see any Amercians claiming Neil Young do you?

cris178Zune Says:
Mar 17, 2012 - i think will and his brother are american
LiberTBo Says:
Mar 17, 2012 - That is 100% correct. Win Butler and his younger brother Wil were born in Truckee, California, and raised in The Woodlands Texas. Neither Butlers were born in Canada.....
LiberTBo Says:
Mar 18, 2012 - People thought the same thing when the Allman Brothers had two drummers, and the Grateful Dead and the Doobie Brothers, and King Crimson, and Adam and the Ants.....I guess they just liked their signature sound with more drums. .
ziggy577 Says:
Apr 25, 2012 - Finally, some real musicians.
