Its just about on the same level as the amazing Sandra Bullock movie Premonition, (and thats sarcasm in case you missed it) but someone with the taste to appreciate such movies as this probably got it immediately just because your so clever.

Not many movies allow you to do that, instead they give you everything and there isn't much to discuss. There was a lot about depression and psychological effects of an impending disaster on different types of people. I thought that was interesting. Its totally ok you don't like it though.

When Justine said "what did you expect" I think it was supposed to remind him that all along he knew this depression wasn't going to go away. I think anytime Justine was acting happy was because she was trying as hard as possible to ignore her depression

May 28, 2012 - I'm a film student and embrace most films but I'm not going to lie I Lars Von Trier, although part of a big movement, dogma, just doesn't appeal to me. In fact I think he's incredibly pretentious and who ever liked this movie I can completely understand, the first ten minutes I think could be some of the most spectacularly atmospheric I have seen in a long time and the themes were all there but my god did Trier drain every last second out of it, I think the key to film making is making it short

May 29, 2012 - Holy Fuck, what a piece of shit movie.....You get to see Kirsten Dunst full frontal but it's not at all worth it. Jack Bauer had to fucking kill himself when he realized what a shit movie he was in. The best part was when everybody died at the end.

May 30, 2012 - It's hard for some people realize that Lars von Trier is not trying to explain things, but just show us how big is the fear inside of us when the end is comming, when the death is comming. Trier is a funckin' genius. Most of people who didn't like Melancholia coudn't understand the message. This movie is simply stunning!
