Nov 6, 2011 - This song is interesting, I think it's almost as if she's explaining the reasons behind all her decisions and life choices having to do with following your dreams, romantic relationships, music, drugs, the justification behind youthful rebellion, running away from your problems, creating a different life for yourself.If more people listened to this song and listened to their "spirit child", I think they would get a lot more out of life.

Nov 14, 2011 - totally true...how can one compare???....Baez transports me beyond music, you- tube, etc.....I have this same experience when I hear great gospel singing like aretha, or James Cleveland, mighty clouds of joy.......Buffy st. marie is another one...god, I wish I wasn't a ten yr old in the 60's!!!
