Dec 24, 2011 - I'm a huge fan of Tom Hanks, and I really want to see him back to basking in critical glory. But Stephen Daldry is an overrated director, who uses cliche's for melodrama. His movies always feel like Soap Operas with better scripts and better acting.
sugreev2001 Says:
Dec 24, 2011 - Yeah.

Jan 20, 2012 - Well, we shouldn't judge. This is a story of a little boy and the love he feels for the loss of his dad.

MrRedFist Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - No indeed, the movie's pretty bad.
pypeworld Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - I eventually warmed to this over sentimental flick, but Thomas Horn's over enunciated "Winona Ryder" voice made it a more difficult watch.

Mar 20, 2012 - I really loved it.....its a surprisingly honest and affectionate drama.
AdonTimasu Says:
Mar 27, 2012 - That's because he has Aspergers... that was about half of the point of the movie... and it was explained almost 10 minutes into the movie...
VitsInEnglish Says:
Apr 4, 2012 - No, he said that MAYBE he had it. Either way, and I know this for personal experiences, Aspergers have nothing to do with being an asshole.
AdonTimasu Says:
Apr 4, 2012 - It can, since Aspergers affects the victim by making him or her incapable (or have a hard time) of making proper social connections, as well as having a hard time calming themselves down during psychotic breaks during times of intense activity that overstimulates the brain.
